Those who knew me in my teenage/young adult years may be scoffing at that title, because I tended to wear a lot (ok.....all) black back then.  But, I've grown, and as I have grown, so has my art.

I love working with bold patches of color.  They don't necessarily have to be big swatches of color, but they need to be bold. Bright. Daring. Basically, the opposite of me in my everyday life. And that's ok.

I love Warhol (cultural icon-ic works), Lichtenstein (comic-esque), Brody and Carson (typography), Calder (sculpture), Indiana (I'm from Philly....his "LoVE" sculpture is an icon), and Banksy (politically-themed graffiti).
